Your petition will be presented in lodge meeting and voted upon by the members of the lodge. If approved, an investigating team of three Masons will contact you for a personal interview. They will check your references which might include a background check. If your references check out and the team makes a positive recommendation to the Master of the lodge, you will be invited to be initiated as an Entered Apprentice Mason.

Following your initiation, you are a Mason. As you progress in Freemasonry, you will become a Fellow Craft Mason and then a Master Mason. In each step as you advance in Masonry, the ancient rituals and traditions you experience will provide you with some of the most meaningful and enjoyable memories of your life.
